CORRECTION: Notice to those using Eurofins for compliance testing

Updated Message from Island County Environmental Health

CORRECTION: Island County Public Health  recently emailed information regarding new laboratory compliance testing procedures and forms. Since that communication, Eurofins has informed them that the original guidelines were not correct and only Eurofins Chain of Custody (COC) form can be used for compliance testing at this time.

If you are currently a Eurofins account holder using the Eurofins COC form for compliance sampling, please continue to do so along with the Washington Compliance Info Sheet as well.

If you do not have a Eurofins account and are not currently using the COC form, please hold off on making any submissions for compliance testing until a new form is available. Do not make submissions with the DWWW PPS form as previously advised. Eurofins is currently working with DOH and ICPH to determine the most effective process for serving Island County water systems going forward. You can continue to make submissions for non-compliance testing.

Apologies for the confusion and thank you for your patience. We will update you when there is more information available.
