Dear Chemical Action Plan stakeholders, Ecology and Health recently published the Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) Draft Chemical Action Plan and invite you to review and provide feedback on the research and recommendations. The public comment period starts today, Wednesday, October 7, 2020 and ends Monday, December 7, 2020. Informal comment on PFAS rulemaking from Whidbey Island Water Systems Associations
On Friday January 17th, Whidbey Island Water Systems Association held a special member meeting to discuss the draft changes to WAC 246-290 and to agree on comments to be submitted on behalf of the membership during the informal comment period ending January 31st, 2020. Comments were discussed and approved unanimously by the water system representatives in attendance.
