2023 Math for Operators & Reading P&IDs Workshop – On-Line!

| Math for Operators and Reading P&IDs Workshop – On-Line Workshop starts at 7:30 AM Pacific Time! The 2023 training season has started! This workshop will focus on critical math skills and reading process & instrumentation diagrams for water & wastewater operators, Review of basic math Operator aids Tracking units Problem solving What are P&IDs and why are they useful? What do all the symbols and notations mean? How do P&IDs interface with other system drawings? How to develop P&IDs Speakers will be: Dave Price Kenny Packard James Cross Jeff Lundt Please have a pen or pencil and paper along with a calculator, slide rule or abacus with you. Practice will make perfect and we will be doing group and individual problems to hone skills with a variety of problems for the math segment. You will have a chance to compare your results to others and the speakers. Have pencil and paper ready for the P&ID segment as we will have exercises and be drawing our own P&IDs. Cost is $120 for AWWA, WEF or PNCWA members and $180 for non-members (includes operator membership in AWWA or PNCWA). 0.6 Water & Wastewater CEUs approved for Idaho and Oregon operators.
